The inspiration for Worcester Herbs was taken from botanical drawings of the 18th and 19th centuries. The design on the Worcester Herbs Cereal Bowl Large Size 8 inch depicts attractive cottage herbs such as rosemary, thyme, bay, parsley and black mustard. Worcester Herbs is a practical range of fine porcelain dinnerware that is perfect for formal entertaining or everyday use. Made in Portugal.Antique botanical prints are popular once again for decorating country-style homes. Royal Worcester perpetuates this theme with its Herbs collection, which mimics the colorful naturalist sketches of the 18th- and 19th-century in a dinnerware pattern. This generous 8-inch, white cereal bowl features a drawing of a blooming sprig of wild thyme in its center, labeled with its common and Latin name. Blue and white butterflies flutter among the flowers of the featured herb while a border of five different colorful herbs frames the scene. A final bright green band on the edge ties all the plant life together.
This dinnerware is made of fine porcelain, a durable ceramic material formed from fired clay with a white finish and translucent sheen and is safe for the microwave, freezer, oven, and dishwasher.
